Join if you're lesbian, bi or something similar, and don't mind tossin’ back a few in the name of being social. We originated in the Burbank area, but we go all over LA. From Burbank and Pasaden …

The Gay Women Physicians’ Association of Los Angeles (GWP) is a social and career networking group of women physicians—MDs and DOs—who are gay, bisexual, or transgender. The group usually has a standing monthly brunch meeting in addition to other prn activities. (Speaking of prn vs. standing, I sometimes write prescriptions for trazodone as sig: II tabs QHS standing. Once when a patient brought in the bottle, the label said "take 2 tablets at night standing...") The monthly brunch is on th …

I am starting this group because I love to scrapbook and make cards while sitting and chatting with others. I haven't been able to find a scrapbooking group specifically for the LGBT community and their friends, so I'm creating my own. I have been scrapbooking for about 3 years now, and still have a ton of my daughter's childhood pictures to do. I just became a Stampin! Up demonstrator and now spend my cropping time making cards. Join me for scrapping, crafting, and community!

Advice from Cher Horowitz from the classic film Clueless: "You should read one non-school book a week." This advice applies not only to high school girls, but also to lesbians, queers, gay ladies. The LA Gay Lady Book Club is for women who want to read one cool book a month, and we'll be taking suggestions on what to read from the club's members. The books we read may or may not be lesbian/queer themed, but the Ladies who attend probably will be ;) (gay/lesbian/bi/queer, trans family welcome) Re …
